Birthday bash

Today is a birthday party for all the November babies in the playgroup. Rather than celebrate one by one (although I imagine many parents will have separate parties at home), we're having them for the month of the babies' birth (baby's? No, babies' since it's plural babies birthdays?) November will be the first month where kids in playgroup are turning one so it should be a celebration of excess. I offered to bring lunch meats. Well, it was suggested I bring that. I am also bringing champagne because while these kids are a year, we as mothers have survived the year as well and in some ways that's just as momentous.
