Bjorn has gone back to work and my mother is here helping. It's so wonderful having her here to help ease into having two kids. It's going to be very strange next week when I'm on my own with both kids when Andy is home from school and Bjorn is still at work.
Andy is tolerating Meg pretty well these days and generally seems pretty interested in her. It will be different once it's just the two of us and his needs have to take a backseat.
First, congrats on the arrival of Meg! I had to laugh out loud at today's posting. I remember just after having Shannon (and gaining 84 pounds - yup 84!) I finally squeezed in to an old pair of jeans and actually burst in to tears with the absolute joy of it. I wore those damn things for nearly 3 months - only taking them off to wash them! Once I could fit in to some other, I actually ceremoniously burnt them in the back yard (of course, this was mainly because the thighs and ass were nearly completely worn away!). Love to all of you, w
ReplyDelete84 pounds? Wendy, you have always been an overacheiver.
ReplyDeleteWhen are you going to fit into your daisy dukes and halter top? Before getting pregnant you practically lived in those things.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Non-panel pants!
