Plates

I am tasked with getting the paper plates and napkins for the playgroup joint birthday party (I usually volunteer to bring something I don't have to make. I'm no fool). So I went to the store planning to buy about 20 of everything for the group. I was surprised to find they sell them all in packages of 6 or 8. Is that really a party with that few people? Plus, they sell them in varying quantities, so you get 8 plates and then 6 napkins or vice versa. It's like selling hotdogs in packages of 10 and buns in packages of 8.
