The weather in Washington is gorgeous at the moment. Highs in the low 70s, breezy and mostly sunny. I met my friend Shelly in Old Town Alexandria, which is kinda half way in between for us. The plan initially was some hardcore spring shopping at the Gap Outlet, but we found a spot in the park that was perfect so we spent a couple hours there instead. Andy and Caroline just loved being outside although both did at various times try to eat grass, sticks and an errant cigarette butt. We were having a great time catching up, but Andy had refused a morning nap and started to crash. Poor chicken fell asleep in the ride home with a pretzel in each hand. It was precious.
